I own Honda city manual v variant 2014 model...
It's purely driver's delight...

But my parents and wife while sitting in rear ,complain of bumpier ride compared to estillo or wagon r which we have...

Feel very bad as bought sedan costing 10 lakhs plus for comfortable ride...

Thinking of changing honda city... Can u suggest a good alternative? I drive daily around 45 km

Or can I get my suspension changed to bielstein and hope for better ride ..

I have upgraded tyre size after 50000 km..

Need advice pl Gagan sir!

With regards,
Dr Rajesh

Yaris got better build quality and riding comfort. I really liked it when i took it for test drive. However, Toyota is not able sell this car in good numbers.

Any suggestions for automatic cars?..
Vento tsi?
Skoda rapid dsg
Yaris cvt?

Need comfortable ride as priority....
Mileage also as I ride 1500 km per month!

Is mileage of Creta automatic high? What transmission? CVT or torque converter in Creta?

Hello,

Suggest to drive by
> Reducing in Tyre pressure and experience if the issue
> Get Alignment and Balancing Done

There should not be any reason for bumpier ride.
Still if in case - looking for alternate car with Good rear seat comfort, ease of Ingress, Egress. Rear Under-thigh support

> Suggest to check out Maruti Suzuki S Cross Zeta Diesel as alternate
> If seeking a Petrol one - check out Hyundai Creta Petrol as good alternate

Possibly due to raised seating, ease of ingress and egress - could like in these
Should help !!

Thank you sirji!

I had upgraded tyres to Michelin,185 size
Nitrogen since beginning..
Got suspension changed from honda dealer once it had problem...in warranty...

Still bumpy ride.... rear seat comfort is superb..good space ,good seats for long rides ,my only concern is when parents sit behind they are not very comfortable..

Changing the car I meant wanting to upgrade to new automatic transmission car....

Thanks for advise!

Hello,

Yes - suggest to get
> Rear Beam Suspension checked along with Rear Shockers
> Tyres changed to OEM Size and possibly go with Michelin Tyres
> Fill in Nitrogen

should possibly address in the issue

One need not change in a car for same. Honda city Rear Seats are not that bad.
