I have checked with them, without even inspecting they have said they need to change the whole switch console. But i am little skeptical whether it is the fuse blown out or due the fiddling around with the alarm button. Does the alarm button has any link with lock-unlock switch?

i have uploaded the photo of the switches which i am referring to. Look forward to hear from you.

Oh that way
Well - it seems an issue with effectively in Central Lock feature

Possibly could be related to
> gun type actuator as most common issue
> Wiring issue

Suggest to get it inspected at Maruti Suzuki workshop

No no, you have got my question wrong.

If I am inside the car, using the door lock and unlock switch (in the driver door console) I am unable to lock or unlock the other doors. Thereby if anybody has to get down the vehicle they have to manually unlock using the knob their respective doors. The problem started after my kid fiddled around with the alarm switch inside the car which is nearby the fog lamp switch. Pls help.

Hello,

2 things can do

1. You can visit a local mechanic, can ask him to disconnect in battery and then reconnect it
What it will do is reset the Nippon alarm, then possibly can work

2. Can call Nippon Customer Care.
There Customer Care Number is - 1800 18000 80 (Pan India) and Timings are from 8am to 8pm
The technician can come and reset the system

Hope should help !!
