Respected Sir,

Presently I am using Alto 800 LX (2004). I want to buy a new car and my budget is about 6 Lakh.
Which car is a better option Ignis or New Dzire?

If you need space, go for Dzire. Dzire is a tried and tested Car for years. If you drive your car alone or with co-passenger most of the time go for ignis. Ignis is not a great choice for back-seaters.

@ Rakesh Kumar

Considering Budget and the fact about December Offer
Maruti Ignis Zeta post discounts will be priced almost similar to Dzire Lxi Base Model

Now been both cars comes with same 1.2 Litre Engine and the fact from same Maruti Suzuki Family sharing same new Chassis
the edge in Dzire Lxi been
> Relatively more Spacious on Rear Seat
> Bigger Boot Space
> Maruti Dzire in itself has turned to be a brand been better social presence

However the biggest downside in Dzire Lxi is
> Very bare basic in features - No Power window, No Central Lock, No Electric ORVM, Even ORVM and door handles in black color. No Music System and no Wheel Cover.

> While Ignis Zeta can surprise you with host of enhancements - Push Button Ignition, Alloy Wheel along with all other essentials as missing in Dzire Lxi. Even there are Additional Tweeter for Music System, Fog Light, Defogger and Power Foldable ORVM

So recommendation is- if seeking for car within 6 Lakh then will Pick Ignis Zeta due to the fact that Dzire Lxi feels very basic
However where can extend budget to 7 Lakh - Dzire Vxi with host of enhancements over Dzire Lxi along with space can be a better pick

Hope should help !!
