Just bought a second hand zen estilo lxi 2007. Plan to use it for daily travel of 50kms and get new car after 12 to 18months Should I look @installing CNG Kit or continue to use Petrol. looking @ expense of 1lac for year on fuel now. What suggestion do the members have for me now.

If you looking to buy new car after 1 to 1.5 yrs then to my view - CNG Kit is not recommended

A) Zen 2007 was powered with 1 Lit, 60 BHP... Installing CNG will further dampen the power by 20 - 25% - which makes it even lower than Alto
You wont enjoy driving a second hand car with lower power output

B) For 1 to 1.5 yr - Considering fuel expense of 1 Lakh as mentioned in Petrol - it means 15,000 Km - you will save approx Rs. 2.5 in CNG as against Petrol- Fuel saving would barely cover cost of CNG Kit including RTO & Insurance Endorsement - considering closed loop, leave aside sequential one

Not advisable !!
