I Have a Honda City 2017 V and Recently I saw Few Top Variants of The Honda City Facelift With Those White Headlights! They Look Wonderful! I want To Know How Can I Upgrade to Those Headlights? Will Honda Dealership Will Do It, And it's Cost?
If Not, What Would be The Cost of Changing The Headlight Bulbs From Yellow To White(LED), Both High And Low Beam Bulbs?

Thanks!

Hello,

Those are LED Headlights
Although not available at Honda showroom as accessory - but there are after-market options available which one can use post warranty

In terms of available options on upgrading Headlights Details on this article post on - Headlight Upgrade for Cars

To add on - White lights are not recommended as HID - High Intensity bulbs can have a strong glare impact on driver on other side
Can go for 4300K Bulb - but anything in 6000K or higher bulb can severely impact in visibility through its glare on opposite side driver
Hope should help !!

Hi,

I have a similar query hence replying on the same thread. I am planning to buy the Honda City 2017 VX model with LED Headlights.
My main concern being the white LED lights and their visibility issues especially in rains/ fog. I am confused if the led lights will detect potholes properly in rains as many posts suggests white lights having intensity of more than 4300K as poor performers. Does anyone know of what intensity the led lights on Honda City 2017 are?

The LED lights could be a make or break deal for me(safety is of prime importance + previous experience with low visibility headlights). I would go for a V model instead with standard halogens, but my heart is on the Sunroof and 16' alloys that come only with VX & ZX models. Can someone please guide me if the white led are sufficient? User review & inputs will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Initially I was also planning to go for VX model for all these bells n whistles, but later on finalized with the V variant. I didn't wanted a sun-roof as such, and the 16/15 inch alloy wheel does not make a visible difference, and the full size (alloy+rubber) of both the tyre is same. In day time one cannot make a difference b/w VX & V variant.

Even I had the same doubt before buying the Honda city.. Finally I bought the ZX varient for all its features.. And the main thing I am disappointed is with the lights. It is not sufficient. I am not able to see the road properly ahead of me. If any vehicle comes towards me I am completely blinded by the oncoming vehicle. Not even able to see the upcoming speed breaker.. I asked many shops to upgrade the bulb but everyone is telling we can't... Any suggestions..
