My 25 days old brand new car's Michelin tyre which came company fitted got an inch long cut on the sidewall due to possibly sharp objects on the road.
It is irreparable now and of no use.
Is a warranty replacement possible from Michelin?

Hello,

Thats sad to hear on a brand new car

Well -
> Any Sort of Cut on Tyre
> Punctures due to any reason
> Damage to Tyre Sidewall due to driving on Bad Roads / Scrapes
> Regular Wear and Tear

are not covered under warranty.
So - if the tyre is unusable - it will be futile to pursue the case with Tyre OEM for claim under warranty
Best to replace in Tyre

Thank you Admin for the response.

I lodged a claim on the Toll-Free number of Michelin, got the tyre inspected at Honda's workshop.
Michelin offered me a new replacement tyre at 50% the cost of new one, which I gladly accepted.

Acceptable customer service by Michelin, although I wanted a full 100% replacement.

Hello Arun Jain,

Talk and register claim on toll free number of Bridgestone. This is the only way out.
