I have a question on Old Honda City 1.5 S AT Automatic. Is this AT mean the same as CVT Automatic as what new Honda City comes ?

Hello,

No the Old Honda City was based on 5 Speed Automatic Transmission
While New Age Honda City is based on CVT - which is abbreviated as Continuous Variable Transmission - effectively means infinite gear ratio

To help you
> CVT Means gear ratio is change on increasing speed or decreasing speed by every Km. Advantage is superior fuel efficiency
> While 5 Speed means - Gears changes on set of car achieving certain speed. Some cars comes with paddle shift to manually over-ride automatic gear change especially making down-shift to get a feel of pep

Hope should help !!
