Hello guys,
i do own a ford figo 2011 diesel model, few months back it started giving me problems. whenever i start AC, the car is in massive load and pickup drops. One day i was way to my home, suddenly a whistling noise started coming from the engine. I stopped the car and checked if something got stuck in the belt (the actual reason what not known at that time) but nothing was there, so i started car and move, but after few kms white smoke coming out of the exhuast. I stopped the car and get it checked by the local mechanic and came to know that i blow my turbo

. I then went to the mechanic (he is ford mechanic) and after the proper diagnose it was very shocking that whole engine needs to be repaired as the pistons, turbo, piston cylinder etc are in worst condition. I decided it to get it repaired and it costs me around 70k.
Now the actual stuggle starts from here, the mechanic called me and said the car is repaired and is working fine. I went there and collected the car, as soon as i started driving the car, the pickup of the car is worse, i get back to the mechanic and hand over the car to look at this problem also. After diagnosis it was observed the pickup sensor was not working. I got it replaced. After that car was running fine for around 1-2 weeks than again turbo blows. Mechanic changed that at his cost. Then after few days again turbo blows....this scenario continued for atleast 5 times. The 6th turbo is working fine but the pick is very poor as it was in the starting. I got it scanned from the ford and not a single problem was mentioned. The turbo is working fine everything is good but still i miss those punch as i used to get before.
Now yesterday i was driving back to home, suddenly a blast sound came from the engine and it shuts down. I open up the hood and see that smoke is coming out from all the sides of the engine. I was totally pissed off. I get back to the mechanic and get it checked and the last thing which is remaining is also stopped working . 3 of the 4 injectors stopped working
So after putting around 1L i m on the same page as on the day i first blown turbo...and came to conclusion that ford engines are not made to be repaired...either you dump your car or get the engine swiped.
So, now i decided to swipe the engine with another one which is going to cost me around 40K-50K.
