Hello,

No - there is no as such braking issue observed or either heard of
Equipped with ABS - Braking is satisfactory in all New Dzire

yes - rather there were some rumors about Steering Assembly in Dzire, in which Manufacturer changing in internally - a statement however was not issued from Maruti Suzuki and neither were owners contacted in. So hence calling it a rumor

In case you considering buying in Dzire - may follow review
> Maruti Dzire Diesel Review
> Maruti Dzire AMT Petrol

Should assist !!

Its been a month I took delivery of Dzire, VDi. Just after 3 weeks of delivery i gave for 1st service. I felt the suspension was hard and was not easy on any speed breaker or pot holes. After the 1st service I heard screeching sound while applying brakes and now the noise and vibration is too much, even while descending bridge or road i can feel the vibration on the steering. I have lodged a complaint with Garuda Service (Hebbal) Bangalore. Not sure what more surprises I have to look for....

I bought new DZire Vxi in January 2018. After 1st service (630kms) abnormal noise started from brakes. During second service I mentioned the same. But issue not resolved. Noise increased too much day by day. Informed to service centre regarding noise issue. Service adviser saying it is common in DZire & cleaned the brakes.Ihaven't heard this kind of noise from any other vehicle. Still problem not solved & I am irritating while driving in traffic.

Purchased a swift amt in September 2018 and I'm happy with the breaks.I apprised this to the Dealer on my first service and there's no improvement. My vehicle is the abs variant. When breaking even normally the breaks tend to be spongy with no feel. The service advisor says it's normal. Is it only me?

I have bought Dzire ZDI+ AMT in April-18 (Model was Dec-17). Actually there was a serious issue with the breaking starting after one month and on complaint to the Service Center, they casually denied, saying that it's usual and it will go after some time automatically.

On Second Service when I asked them to check thoroughly and resolve the issue or take your car back, then they immediately replaced the front brake pads and the problem is gone.

It clearly indicates that the problem was due to faulty Brake Pads and the whole lot was faulty. Since thousands of owners has complained to their respective service centers, Maruti Suzuki has not taken any note or recalled for replacement of faulty part.

Very Strange!!!!!!
