Dear Sir,

I the undersignee had booked Hyundai made Asta Grand I10 car, and under the bank's scheme, before the 30th of April 2017, had already sent the dealer an amount of Rs 641000/ thru RTGS on the 27th of April 2017.

But after a day, I came to about the financial problems in my institution, in which I'm working. So I had to cancel my plan of this purchase by making further down payment for Rs.72000/.

My agony started from the 28th April 2017 itself, wherein I have sent the dealer constant reminder regarding this, but in vain. After that I and my wife both had been to the dealer and personally requested the dealer, but the dealer's manager was so rude in talking to us and started refusing our calls and mails. Just yesterday, my wife had gone to meet the dealer for arriving at a better solution, but the dealer and the company's manager closed the chapter by recovering Rs 20000/ as cancellation charges!. Wherein as per my best of knowledge, no dealer in whatsoever situation is any way not allowed to levy this much amount of cancellation charges. Because the vehicle is only billed in my name but yet not registered with the RTO.

Hence please guide me as how to end the matter? Reply to me at the earliest.

Thanking You,

Yours' Sincerely,

Ninad Gangavkar,

Hello,

Based on the details as understood -
> You have made complete Rs 6.4 Lakh payment to done but before taking delivery or sending vehicle for registration - asked dealer to cancel
> Request for cancellation was placed on 28th April and you yet following up for refund as refund pending even on 1st June (34 days already passed)
> Dealer asking you for Rs 20000 cancellation charges now

I suggest some details here with facts
> Not to deduct even a single penny for cancellation - on what grounds is dealer asking for cancellation charge and that too Rs 20000
You have not entered in sales contract by purchasing the car, for booking cancellation - under which manufacturer guided policy is the dealer asking the amount

> Interest amount of Rs 6.4 Lakh for 34 days is almost Rs 6000, which you are not claiming from dealer, any further delay leads to further interest loss

I suggest to take it strongly with
> Dealer by putting in writing series of event and take acknowledgement and give them time for refund within 5 days max
> pose complaint with Manufacturer customer care
> if possible write to concerned sales team of Manufacturer - search google / linkedin for contacts - email

Should help in getting refund !!
