There is nothing called Mandatory from dealer side
A dealer is supposed to be an agency in between a Manufacturer and customer who
> Act as Consultant in answering customer queries on features, delivery, color, test drive
> Booking to Delivery Process of the car
> Act as Sales and After sales Support
However - Its 100% customer discretion
> whether he is buying Insurance from dealer or outside
> whether he is choosing in accessories package / a single accessory or no accessory at all
A dealer can act as an consultant in offering benefits, quality as what the same prescribed from Manufacturer but in no way can impose a restriction of a mandatory clause.
A dealer prime job is to sell car and not raise condition of choosing accessory or Insurance (ofcourse they have high margins, but can not make it a pre sale condition)
I will suggest to have word with Showroom GM on same - if the package of Basic Accessory kit is not intending to buy or you seeking to buy Ala-carte Accessory . In case of no satisfactory response - may contact Nexa customer care for Manufacturer Intervention
