Hello,

In terms of Mileage - can expect in around 13 to 13.5 Kmpl in City and around 17 Kmpl on Highway drive at speed of 80 Kmph

For Maintenance - Hyundai has tweaked in service schedule of Grand i10 last year and the car is now one among low maintenance hatch car in the segment

Refer details on - Grand i10 Maintenance

Now there is no need to replace in below mentioned Fluids for almost 10 years
> Coolant
> Gear Oil
> Brake Fluid

Also - the replacement interval is extended to once in 6 years of
> Spark Plug
> Fuel Filter

Estimated Maintenance cost is around 45 paise per Km

In Grand i10 Petrol and Diesel
Based on average annual running, should consider in Grand i10 Petrol
However - advisable to not to skip ABS as an Important safety feature and may consider in Top End Asta Model in petrol

Hope should help !!

Thank you Anudeep for asking this question as I am facing the exactly same dilemma but with a slight change that I be driving for almost 1800 kms per month within the city (Delhi)

Could anyone suggest me what option shall I go with, petrol or diesel?

Detailed analysis are welcomed.

@ Manish

With 20000 Kms on Odo in a year and the fact that
> Hyundai Grand i10 Diesel has excellent in city drive without any lag
> Much Fuel efficient relatively due to 3 cylinder diesel engine as against 4 cylinder petrol engine

Although Diesel looks a lucrative option but still will suggest to consider in Petrol
For reasons, refer
> Petrol or Diesel Car
> BS 6 Diesel Fuel Impact on BS 4 Engine

Should help !!
