Is it advisable to retrofitting of new Maruti Baleno with cng (Italian sequential)
what mileage one can expect?

Or is it advisable to go for diesel variant instead of retrofitting with cng considering power loss and engine wear and tear? Your advise on the basis of your knowledge and experience will be of great help. Thanks in advance

We checked offline earlier with Manufacturer Team earlier on this and they dont recommend any modification in Fuel Type
So - its best to follow in Manufacturer recommendation and avoid any after-market fitment of CNG
This will leave warranty intact and also retain in best performance as what tuned by Maruti Suzuki in there respective Petrol & Diesel Engines

CNG as Option
However, having said that
> Modern age sequential Kits are compatible with most of the cars
> Baleno shares in same 1.2 Litre K Series Engine as in Swift with similar compression ratio
> Many Buyers in after -market have installed CNG Kits (from BRC, Landi renzo, Lovato) in Swift and are happy with it. Maruti Suzuki as Maker is installing BRC Kits on Wagon R and Ertiga

So - for those who still feel at a later stage that they bought a Petrol Car and the running is relative high and wish to lower running cost - may choose in same CNG Kit may be fitted in Maruti Baleno too.

Still - we wont recommend CNG fitment till the time warranty is there. As after-market fitment will void in CNG Warranty.

Just to note The running in CNG gas been top up can be maximum 200 - 220 Kms in one full stretch
So - if your running is around 30 to 40 kms a day - then only may consider installation of CNG - else where driving is high at around 70 Kms a day - it may just be better to rather consider in Diesel Engine to avoid been fuel filling as hassle

Hope should help !!
