sir ,

i have purchased renault kwid two month before and running till date 3400 km, alternate belt of my car broken i want know probable reason behibd it
alternate belt of my car broken within 2 month of car purchased what step I should take now in this matter

Hello,

Alternator Belt are not supposed to get broken so early, they have considerable life time
It seems that there could likely be misalignment or manufacturing defect on the belt (pulley, bearing, and hope it would have been replaced under warranty

Suggest to continue with the new belt, in most likely scenario if the belt is properly aligned then there might not be a problem in near future.

i have the same (Alternator Belt problem) before two month at 2500Km. they replaced with new belt, but again one week before second time this happen to me again at 4100Km..

i think there must be a manufacturing defect in my car also..

What are the maintenance spare parts to be changed when 2016 Renault KWID has run 30000 KMS in 6 years? Should we replace Drive Belts, Spark Plugs & Coolant?
