Anyone got the tyres changed for Mahindra XUV500? We are planning for all tyres change now but wondering what to choose between Michelin / Bridgestone
Admin Accepted Answer

Michelin are relatively soft rubber tyre, good for smooth highways n braking
Though Michelin can be an excellent choice for Hatch / Sedan

But, for SUV Range like XUV500 - in between Michelin and Bridgestone - would recommend Bridgestone as they are got relatively hard rubber for enhanced durability on all terrain Indian conditions vis to Michelin which are comparatively soft as compared to SUV

In terms of costing - would cost in approx Rs 50K for set of 4 Tyres

However - to add on - if you feel to get the best - may even consider in Pirelli Scorpion ATR Tyre - though would be bit pricey at around Rs 60K to 65K for set of 4 tyres - but is the best. It an all terrain tyre with excellent off road capabilities. and yet comfortable with excellent traction and comfort in city ride.

Especially worth to invest in - if often got for ride on bad patch roads.

Hope should help in making a pick !!

Hi Sir,

Hope you are doing well......

Please help me as I am confused very much. Actually I am going to change my Xuv 500 2012 tyres as Bridge stone but some one suggested me that go for falken as it is better than Bridge stone with five years warranty. I checked out for the same and in after market the cost is 12000 while 500 more for Bridge stone. But at authorized dealer cost is 13500. I have doubt for genuinity also in after market. Confused very much. What to do ? Please help.
Looking forward for your nice co- Operation and a positive reply soon.
