Hello,
If CNG is duly endorsed in RC Smart Card - then no need to visit in RTO for Hydrostress or post Hydrostress (in Delhi)
But in Cities like Mumbai - yes a customer is required to visit
> You have to test CNG Kit from Government Authorized Retro Fit Center
> will get report from Retro Fit that the CNG Kit is complied as per norms
> You have to take report to RTO For Endorsement along with RC, Valid Insurance and Valid PUC (By Valid means that these documents are not expired)
> Get Compliance Plate Installed
A Compliance plate is issued by Authorized center which has validity of 3 years
For info - Compliance Plate is all about that you are using
- Authorized CNG Kit
- CNG is properly endorsed on the RC
- Periodical Inspection done as per Gas Cylinder Rules 2004
- Ensure Safety, so as to prevent people from entering into practices of Unauthorized CNG Kit installation
- Ensure that even approved CNG Kits beyond 3 yrs of life have 'hydro stress test' been done
Hope should help
