Hello Sudhir,
There are no such reports or indications which may hint that Vitara Brezza Build Quality is weak
To tell you - Maruti Suzuki is using all new platform in its generation of car which has improved the crash resiliency, rigidity with even improved Noise & Vibration levels
Kerb Weight
The Body Kerb Weight of
> Brezza is in range of 1170 - 1195 Kg which is good enough for Pep and Performance considering competition car like
> Ecosport has Kerb Weight of 1250 Kg
> S Cross having weight of 1180 Kg in 1.3 Litre Engine and 1250 Kg in 1.6 Litre
Safety Ratings
The Safety test ratings are not available of Vitara Brezza. Though Safety Specs of ABS with EBD and Dual Airbags are available as Option from Base Model. Even the manufacturer claims - that Vitara Brezza is already certified for offset and side impact crash test norms - giving it a safe and inspiring confidence to own the car.
(Offset and Side Impact Crash test norms is likely to come in India in 2017)
However yes
> Door Panels looks relative lighter in Vitara Brezza as against the solid build feel factor in Ecosport and TUV300
> On same lines - even Boot Door too in Ecosport and TUV300 feels relative much heavier
Stability
A Car Stability is based on multiple factors - Body weight distribution to find rolling, Suspension, Body Aerodynamics, Ground clearance which determines how high is center of gravity, angular inertia, Wheels & Tyres for stability, Body design and much more. Expect Brezza to be descent stable on 16 Inch Wider Tyres - offering descent mid range performance. Would suggest to test drive it to feel the experience
Overall - it would have been good, had ESP, Traction Control and Hill Hold Drive Assist would have been a part of safety features along with even heavier door panels. It was an opportunity ffor Maruti Suzuki to promote the model with add on safety specs - but seems missed here
Still - Brezza is a good stable and safe car to buy, choose in Option models with Safety spec of ABS and Dual Airbags
Hope should help !!
