I have a Maruti Alto K10 2012 model. I have to change the the transmission oil, but the recommended 75W85 grade is not available. Should I change with 75W90 or 80W90? Is there will be any trouble for the car if I do so?

Hello,

API GL4 SAE 75W85 is the recommended grade Transmission Oil in all across
> Maruti Suzuki Cars
> Hyundai Car Range

In general you should use your manual. The Oil availability if not with dealer - can be available at nearest MASS
Nobody knows the vehicle more than the people who put it together. Manual is like the bible for the best recommendation

In case 75W85 is not available - then to our view (which you should not consider manufacturer recommendation) -
> API GL4
> SAE 75W90 is what you may consider. Even its synthetic and would be the next pick as against 80W90
