I am planning to buy compact SUV petrol manual transmission car. First time buyer, not experienced with car ownership. Budget is upto max. 14.50 Lakh. Checked Tata Nexon Creative plus, Skoda Kushaq Onyx Plus, Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Kia Sonet. I liked Nexon, but confused between Nexon and Creta. Should I go for Creta due same budget only because it is bigger than Nexon. We are family of 5 members. Me, wife, 70 years old age parents, 4 year child. Total running of 10000 in year. 65% on highway, 35% in city. Want a safe, comfortable, spacious, fuel efficient and usable features. Ingress and egress of parents is a concern. Also please suggest between compact SUV or compact sedan considering getting in and out of old age parents.

got my Nexon XMS (P) on 14 Dec 2020 model launch dt Oct 2020, 2.5 yrs of ownership, no regrets as at all,
the service center quality has improved by several notches and listens to the customer at least- that has been my experience , though it requires a bit of follow up to get to closure bu overall am happy with the car and the service center at Tejaswi Automobiles
It's my second year service and the moment paid service started they started saying break overhaul and charge around 2000 rs on it .. second year service estimate is 7100+ gst
Every six months for tata Nexon they are saying it needs break over haul and it's mandatory.. are they cheating me

TATA is a brand only true Indians can understand, rugged and made for Indian roads.
Now, resale of a vehicle is a 2nd thought which you do after years of use when it’s outdated or you wish to upgrade thts your choice.
But when you buy a car the first and foremost thing is its usage for you at present.

Don't buy AMC, just drive your car carefully and do services on time. Why to pay extra if you are caring yourself well.

I bought Nexon XM variant ,which comes with default fix seat option (no height adjustable) I felt that in XE,XM,XM(s) variants have relatively high sitting position, for tall person like me who is 6'4'' I find my vertical vision limited, or have to tilt while driving, so Not so comfortable seats, even lumbar support is ok only, Plus C pillar is too thick that hampers while reversing the car and crossing road from other side,
Exterior design of car is good but ,some important changes needed , like IRVM is not manually dimmable , no doubt magnite has come now to compete ,TAta need to do some changes soon ,I personally won't recommend nexon to others ,specifically Lower variants
