Q, My Car Running is Low, Should i Still replace Engine Oil ?
A. Oil Molecules tends to breakup over period of time and if not replaced over recommended schedule then this can end up leading to thinner oil. Now car when driven with broken oil molecules and thinner oil leads to friction among engine components with faster wear & tear.
So even if your Car Running is lower say covered just 3000 Kms a year - should go with replacement of Engine Oil for Ideal Protection to Car Engine
Q. What is the Difference in 0W-16, 0W-20, 5W-30 Oil Viscosity Grade ?
A. Viscosity Grade is basically the thickness been defined for Engine Oil and defines the stress holding capacity
Its important to follow Oil recommendation as given in Owner Manual as this is what determines the flow of Oil to Engine Components providing the best protection against Friction.
Is Switching from Synthetic Oil to Mineral Oil or Mineral to Synthetic Oil a Problem ?
A. If your Car Engine has Synthetic Oil in the past and you plan to replace with Mineral Oil or had Mineral Oil in the past and you plan to replace with Synthetic Oil then do note that its Perfectly fine to replace with same. However Whats important

I have scross 1.3. as per manual is suggest 5w30 A5/b5, whereas you are suggesting both 5w30 A5/b5 and 5w40 A3/b4. Will 5w30 a3/b4 will also be suitable? Also which one is better shell helix or Castrol edge ?
For heavy city drives 5w30 helix or edge is suitable. For combined city and more highway 5w40 idemitsu or edge is better.

Hi
Which is the best synthetic engine oil for swift vxi 2014 model and how much it required that means 3.1ltr or 4ltr???
Sir,
I have Maruti Wagon R LXI 1.0L 2011 model. For the past three years I observe MASS replaces 0W20 engine oil. But in my manual, it is 5W30 engine oil. Also I observed that while raising speed above 80Kmph, unpleasant noise experienced which makes me to maintain the speed at 80Kmph on highways. But before, even if I cruise above 100Kmph no rough noise. 0W20 is good below 60Kmph. Last service I informed to the MASS, but they told Maruti issued circular to follow 0W20 for all K series engines. Please confirm whether I have to stick with manual that is 5W30 engine oil or Maruti latest recommended engine oil 0W20.
Hi ,pls go with recommended engine oil 5w30 . I have model 2010 old wagonR 1061cc. In last service MASS pour 0w20 oil in my car.. but many persons told me to avoid 0w20 . They recommend 5w30 nd 10w40.

It has run only 300 km after that. Can I continue to use the car or I shall immediately change the oil to recommended grade of 5W30 or 0W20 kind of oil? Pls guide me asap.
