Shradh Rituals
On day of Shradh - The Eldest male member of the family takes an early morning bath, wear new clean white clothes , does pind daan and takes Sankalp. Brahmins and Priest are been called to give Brahmin Bhoj or food been sent to Mandir on the day of Shradh. Also, food been given to cow / dog as cow / dog is a sacred animal as per Hindu Mythology. Food can well be given to poor.
Its a belief that whatever food been offered to Brahmins, cow and dog are been offered to the ancestors through this medium. The positive vibes created by all this reaches the ancestors. The respect and puja gives there soul a peace and helps in nullifying any sins carried out by family members and get blessings from the deceased ancestors of the family.
Rahu Kaal:- Avoid taking Delivery During Rahu Kaal considered superstitious period. Also Rahu-Kaal Period happens every day, 365 days for 90 minutes.
