Battery Drain issue : I am one of the first few owners of the Grand Asta. and i was very pleased with the car untill I faced the BATTERY DRAIN ISSUE. this has happened to me 3 times.Had to take help of Hyundai RSA to jump start the car.
I bought Hyundai because of trust but that is where it has Hurt most as no one is acknowledging that this issue exists with GRAND. I had purchased grand i10 in November 2013 and since it's first month it's showing battery discharge problems. I will strongly recommend not to purchase grand i10. I hav taken it to service station twice in 4 months. And now again Im having same issues.
Now I'm thinking of complain to consumer forum if this time the problem is not resolved. Hyundai is such a reputed company and this type of fooling of consumers is just not accepted. Now I want d problem resolved permanently. They just charge ur car battery and give it back. And then it's d same problem after 5 days. Tomorrow I'm taking my grand i10 to service station for d 3 time in 4 months. Please think well before u finalize on this car. U certainly don't want to spend 2 days of every month going to service station.

I bought Hyundayi Grand I10 on 5- Nov - 2013 and on 15 Nov 2013 from KGC Motors , Patiala. Its tyre burst out on 18 nov - 2013 on any NH1 High way . They told me that they will replace the tyre but its 28 mar -2014 till now no solution is provided and they said purchase the tyre they will pay the money . i purchased the tyre and gave them the bill but still no solution .....
Once the car is purchased no one will even pick up or call u back .. I contacted HEad office chandigarh with mr. jamalludin and miss. seema but they also fool me by attending my call and saying they will call me back from lst 3 month ... So i suggest not to buy hyundayi cars no service is provided as customer care also takes no initiative .. They just make fool ... Really a big Shame ....

I have some serious issue with HYUNDAI MOTORS as per following, I have purchased GRAND i10 – SPORTZ – crdi on 09-Oct-2013, bearing RTO No: GJ 01 RD 9427 and till date it runs only 6000 km single handed by me only. Before 3 months from Ahmedabad based dealer M/s: Concept Motors I Pvt. Ltd (Seller) send 2 engineers for some software up gradation, I was told by them this model is getting frequent problem of battery when it is not in use for more than a week times and they did the required job, after that I used the car for at least a month.
Since I was not in town during 16-Feb-14 to 23-Feb-14, so car was not in use for 8 days, and the properly parked car I was trying to start on Monday 24-Feb-14, it was not getting started, even door was not open by remote key, I got the problem of battery and after reaching office I have logged complain with HYUNDAI call center (complain no # 20471) and with dealer also. My car was started by mechanic and after that the car was taken by dealer (Concept Motors) for some battery related work; they have given back my car after 2 days. Because of the above mentioned inconveniences, I am demanding (from HYUNDAI) apology letter for manufacturing defect and replacement of battery, but they are not responding on this.
To get justice I have send many emails to their official ids ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) and called them also numbers of time, but all my exercises are in-vain. (My complain no is: 1#681952349) During conversations with many of their representatives, I got the information that this kind of complain they are getting from all the initial buyers of GRAND-i10, and it was some software issues during the manufacturing time.
Now my point is that if the company is already aware about the manufacturing defect, so why can’t they apologies for the same to the customers, to whom they sold such defective cars, and replacement of new battery, since the old one has got some problems. Seeking your kind support to take up my complain with HYUNDAI Motors; doing this you can also indirectly do the justice with many of such customers those who have bought defected cars from HYUNDAI Motors. Battery discharge problem in grand i10. I have purchased grand i10 n 6 october, and just after 1 week battery was exhausted. I took it to the service station, and they have just charged the battery and the car was returned back to me after 2 days. And I was told now its fine.
And just after another 1 month, same problem was encountered, and again the dealers started giving funny excuses, as if I dnt know about the cars. I have gone through many online forums, and there are thousands of customers who are facing the same problem.
Now its high time, iam fed up with all this funny excuses given by servixe centres. Tomorrow I will b submitting back my car to sas service centre and on monday I will be knocking the doors of counsumer forum. I want my car should be replaced or its problem should be resolved.
