- Engine NVH Levels although a lot improved as against what seen in Tiago initial lot when launched in 2016 and 2017, but still this 3 Cylinder Engine NVH Levels are higher as against 3 Cylinder Engine as what used in Ford Figo. If you somehow think about comparing it with Swift or Grand i10 Nios then difference is substantial with superior NVH by competition car models
- Although Power Performance is at 86 PS Power but with Kerb weight of 930 kg to 950 kg and low end performance - if you somehow feel to check out Maruti Ignis or Swift or Grand i10 Nios then competition models offers superior power to body weight making Tiago a slight mediocre in Engine Performance factor
- Rear Seat Legroom is relative compact. Although for person with average height of 5'4 or 5'5" may not face issue, but if driver is tall at 5'10"or 5'11'' and back to back is a tall person then rear seat legroom is definite compact. Also, If you seek superior Rear Seat legroom - Somehow Wagon R, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Swift are better off against Tiago.
- AMT although lot improved but is relative slow in initial response. Although Tiago AMT is much better as what it used to be but still if you seek an AMT Car with Best in class AMT calibrated response then Santro AMT or Hyundai Grand i10 Nios AMT in responsiveness due to Electric Actuator leads ahead against Competition Cars

- The way Prices been hiked of Tata Tiago. 4 year back Tiago XZ Petrol (top model then in) with Alloy Wheel was priced at Rs 4.75 Lakh exshowroom, which is now priced at Rs 5.7 Lakh exshowroom in 2020 and that too without Alloy Wheels. The way prices been hiked took away the Value buy proposition which was offered in the model.
