Wondered, bought a car recently or couple of months back and it starts vibrating on high speeds. Surprised, what is causing the issue and how to get rid of same
Lets identify the causes and potential solution to it
« Misaligned Tyres : Generally, the common reason for any car to vibrate at first instance is that the tyres are misaligned and need balancing. In most of the cases, its the culprit problem, and once the balancing of wheels is done takes away the vibration issue
« Problem in Suspension : Have you start noticing the vibration offlate recently, after the car was hit on a speed breaker or was taken up with speed on a road bumps. The most likely issue in that case would be that the link rod or any bearing may have loosened up. Get the suspension checked immediately before the issue become severe.
« Engine : Has the car bonnet touched the wall while parking. It may be possible that the vibration coming on start of engine and AC together, which could imply a problem in Air-conditioning or the fan movement due to loosening up of bolts.
« Brake Discs : Do you keep your left foot on clutch pedal regularly and accelerates quickly from low to high speeds. It may well be possible that brake disc has gone which may need replacement
The vibration may seem a big issue on a recently purchased car (less than a year old), but issue may not be as big once the cause identified wherein the solution could be pretty simple to get rid of same.
