Hi,
I am Anson from Kochi, Kerala.
I have a 2004 model Zen diesel, and facing a missing problem now and then, on cold starting.
There is no starting problem , but when we start to drive, have to face unbearable missing (Jerking).

In such time see white smoke and bad smell(like incomplete burning of diesel) from exhaust .
After 1-2 KM of dive(Actually it will not just drive but "jump";) every thing will become smooth and if we stop the car and restart again, this problem wont appear again at that point. I have checked heating plugs and fuel injectors with several mechanics, , nobody could n't find the reason.
Please help me.

Hello,

Unsure as the diesel engine in 2003 does not used to come with Turbo-charger and Intercooler and possibly also does not have catalytic converter

The 1.6 Litre Diesel engine was naturally aspirated and if
> Fuel pressure, Fuel Sensor, Fuel Injector been checked
> Glow Plug too also been checked

Then based on the white smoke and issue mentioned of car uneven start and later on after couple of kms goes okay - will suggest decarbonization. There could be heavy deposits around piston rings which needs to be decarbonized, suggest to explore option with the workshop, may help !!
