I need to know about Maruti Swift Dzire 2017 Performance Comparison against Honda Jazz. Which car has better Review in Interiors, Space, Styling, Features List
Admin Accepted Answer

Honda Cars India - despite having a Global Best Seller Jazz in Premium Hatch Segment (sold as Fit in other countries) is facing a tough time with sales now stands at sub 2000 Units.

Not only does Jazz compete against Baleno and I20, but even the Sub 4 Meter Sedan Car like Dzire too is a direct rival to Jazz - due to close Similar Pricing

The issue with Honda Jazz in 2017 is
» Relative Premium Pricing
» ABS and Dual Airbags in Petrol Offered from SV Model (whose ex-showroom is 7 Lakh Plus)
» Although Jazz has USP of Magic Seats (but limited only in Top End) and Misses on Advanced Features as otherwise offered by competition cars in Segment

Despite - been a Brilliant Car in Space, Suspension, Steering Dynamics - Honda Jazz is way below the expected sales in mere 2+ years of re-launch in Indian Market.

As per latest consumer discounts - Honda Cars India selling Jazz with 1st Year Comprehensive Insurance + Rs 15K Cash Discount

Maruti Dzire Plus Point
» Petrol Engine Performance: Petrol Car Engine Performance is super smooth. All 3 Driving Dynamics - Low End, Mid Range and High Speed Dynamics feels spot on. Been all New Chassis gives light weight along with Shorter Turning radius against Jazz - driving new Dzire is more fun in Petrol as against Jazz Petrol

» Cost of Ownership: been 10000 Kms or 12 month Service Interval with Better Mileage as against 10000 Kms or 6 Month Service Interval of Jazz - along with Easy Availability of Spares makes New Dzire lower cost of Ownership

» Convenience of Driving Dzire Diesel with AMT: AMT Auto Gear Shift is the Highlight in Diesel Dzire. Where Jazz comes with manual - if majority of drive in City traffic conditions - you will end up with Dzire AMT Diesel as a practical and more convenient option as against Jazz Diesel. Its really smooth without any Jerks

» Safety Features in Entry Variant in Petrol: Care for Safety Features - Dzire comes with ABS and Dual Airbags as Standard right from Base Lxi Model. While Honda is providing Dual Airbags as option, but ABS and Dual Airbags is available in Jazz SV Model and above (costing at similar price of Dzire Zxi). So - if looking for Dzire Lxi, Vxi, against Honda Jazz E and S Petrol - you can have more safety Features in Dzire

» Modern Features: Although Honda Jazz has Multi Mode Rear View Camera (as against Single Mode Camera in Dzire) and Magic Seats, but considering Features List as Priority - LED Projector Headlights, LED DRL, Rear AC Vents, Even Bigger AVN with Compatibility with Android AUto and Apple Car Play makes New Dzire Stand apart. Also - the stylish Machine Finish Alloys in Zxi Plus gives it a Premium Sporty Styling as against Jazz Vx Model

Honda Jazz Plus Points
» Space Front: Despite In Cabin Seating Space improving a lot in Dzire - but Honda Jazz remains the best pick in Sub 4 Meter Cars for been the most Spacious Cabin the Segment. Infact - some Mid Sedan Car Buyers post purchase are amazed with the space - Honda Jazz has including better Under Thigh Support and Rear Seat Headroom. So - if considering the family car yet with the most Spacious Cabin - Jazz emerged as winner

» Automatic Car in Petrol: Are you a Automatic Car Lover. Honda Jazz comes in advanced CVT Automatic Transmission - which feels super silent, refined and ease of pickup for convenience as against AMT Auto Gear Shift. To tell you in one word - AMT is Budget alternative to Automatic, but CVT is for Refinement

» Diesel Engine: Bigger 1.5 Litre Diesel Engine with 100 PS Power. Though Drive-ability is much improved in Dzire Diesel (due to shedding off weight in New Chassis) - but Honda Jazz remains as a pick to have more fun to drive experience in Mid Range Pep

» Interior Aesthetics: Although New Steering, New Instrument Cluster, Touchscreen AVN - but quality of Plastics felt better in Jazz along with Dash View. If care for Premium Interior Aesthetics - will rate Honda Jazz marginally ahead of Dzire

Common Points
» Suspension: Suspension of Both Cars is good and can fairly take Slight Bad Roads in Urban Road conditions, High Speed breakers with Ease. Although Ground clearance is reduced at 163mm in New Dzire - but no scrape as such even observed on potholes, speed breakers

» Seating View: Both Cars comes with Raised Seating and gives equally better view of Road

» Reliability: Expect Top Notch Reliability. Honda Cars India offering extended warranty till 4 Years and from then is offering Any Time Warranty for 5th, 6th and 7th year. With Honda Pro Care Launched having bouquet of Service Offerings and its proven reliability - expect same to be at par on high standards set by Maruti Suzuki

Honda Jazz or Maruti New Dzire
» Petrol Engine: Unless you considering Top Notch Convenience of Drive with CVT Automatic, where Jazz excels over Dzire , else Maruti Dzire can be fair Value with its Immaculate Handling, Power Performance, Value its offering as bundled package of Space, styling, Ownership Cost and Safety Features in Entry Variant

» Diesel Engine: Although Honda has more powerful Engine, Safety Features available, equally good Mileage but What Maruti Suzuki done is that it has priced AMT Auto Gear Shift Models of Vdi, Zdi and Zdi Plus AMT at prices which are close similar to Jazz S Diesel, SV Diesel, Vx Diesel.
